I’ll never win an Oscar, and
I’ll never have to subject anyone to my allotted
time of simpering effacement. However, since you
are here, and willing to read on, here goes:
I wish to express my humble
gratitude to the many clever artists and teachers
who shared their talent and ignited my
imagination. I also wish I could thank my
grandmother, Jeanne, for instilling in me the love
and patience to sew. Most of all, I want to thank
my family and my dear friends for their kind words
of praise and encouragement.
Although imitation may be the best form of
flattery, I would feel remiss if I did no
acknowledge, among others, Julie McCullough,
elinor peace bailey and Barbara Willis for their
priceless inspiration.
Thank you for freeing my
inner-child, I owe it all to you.
